The Grapes: Cinsaut 47%, Carignane 33%, Mourvedre 14%, Counoise 6 %

Vineyards - Cinsaut, Mourvèdre & Counoise from Estate Owl Hill Vineyard. This tiny special piece of ground is rock, gravel and clay from decomposed Dry Creek Conglomerate soil. Grapes benefit from both south & north exposures.
Carignane from Estate Gannon Vineyard is more red clay, sand, gravel. Exposure soaks up the last sunshine of the day.


Wine - This complex Lucia contains 4 grape varieties showing tart red fruit with characteristics that Lucia is known for. Delicious berry flavors and complex earth. Drink now to 2029  12.7%  Only 93 cases made.

LUCIA blend is named after my late very popular tasting room dog. She was a blend of Old English Sheepdog and Golden Retriever. A complex dog that was soft to pet and did not shed.
