My life is growing wines on 7.77 acres in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County. Here are wild rocky hillsides where native bull pine, manzanita, oak and wild blackberry frame the vineyards. Wines are made exclusively from homegrown Rhône grape varieties. Carignane, Cinsaut, Counoise, Mourvedre, Syrah, Viognier.  I single-handedly craft small batches of these grapes into honest, delicious wines. Each is a genuine natural expression of the single vineyard, grape and vintage.

This year, 2023, is my 47th year in business.  My wonderful wife Judith Gannon and I started this adventure called Frick Winery in 1976 with proceeds from the sale our 1957 Chevrolet. A big dream that began and remains beautifully small. Bill Frick
