new

Tasting Notes:  Brilliant red. Flower, strawberry and mint aromas. Red berry fruit.  Raspberry, red currant, ripe strawberry, plums. Medium body invites another sip.

The Grape: Found in the Southern Rhone where it is most often found as component of Rhône blends and Rose. The grape has big clusters of olive shaped large juicy berries, Color is light purple.  The berries have lush sweet fruit flavors, small seeds and soft tannin.

The Vineyard: Here in Dry Creek Valley, Estate Owl Hill Vineyard . The hill is composed of rocky decomposed Dry Creek conglomerate that dries out quickly after the rainy season.

The Wine  The  first 100% varietal Cinsaut was pioneered by me in 1989. I love this stand alone Cinsaut for its fruit character of cherry, strawberry, plum and raspberry..
