Tasting Notes:
Aromas of boysenberry, cherry, plum, dusty cedar. Flavors of crisp Santa rosa plum, raspberry, tart red cherry and cranberry. Layered earthy crisp berry, cherry and spice. Dry tannins and acidity make for a fresh finish.
The Grapes: Counoise 50% and Cinsaut 50% are the varieties that make up this blend. Estate grown on the hillside here in Dry Creek Valley.
The Vineyards: Counoise and Cinsaut grow in the Frick Estate Owl Hill Vineyard, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County.
The Wine: A blend of two very complimentary less known Rhone grape varieties. Aged 22 months in neutral oak barrels.
