PASSPORT CINSAUT SPECIAL for 2021 Ticket Holders + FREE SHIPPING
My most popular wine at past Passports to Dry Creek Valley was always CINSAUT. This wine is featured because of this. If you visited FRICK during Passport weekend you would leave with CINSAUT.
To show my appreciation for you transferring your 2020 tickets to next year I have put together a Special Offer just for 2021 Passport ticket holders. All packs contain 2016 CINSAUT, either 12 bottles or 6 bottles that you can buy at a deep discount price with an additional benefit of free shipping. Enjoy great savings.
This offer runs through what would have been Passport Weekend ending May 1.
All About this CINSAUT
Tasting Notes Aromatic fruity berry grape nose. Bright. Enters with lively red cherry raspberry and strawberry. Continues giving with strawberry, French prune, new leather, Santa Rosa plum, pomegranate and cranberry. Dry tannins linger with the fruit into a long complex finish.
The Grape A rare delicious Rhone variety. Only 7 acres are planted in the entire Sonoma County Appellation. It is most often found as a minor component of some Rhone blends. Frick Cinsaut is distinguished by being grown in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County. Characteristics of the grape are large olive shaped berries, lush sweet fruit flavors and soft tannin.
The Vineyard Red Bench Vineyard is located on the western bench of Dry Creek Valley, Here head pruned (not trellised) cinsaut vines grow in red, dusty clay non-irrigated (dry farmed) soil. Red Bench vineyard is a little over an acre of 63 year old cinsaut. Old dry farmed vines yield a small amount balanced, fruity grapes that are exclusively Frick Cinsaut
The Wine Original varietal Cinsaut was pioneered by Frick in 1989. This wonderful delicious wine has fruity character of cherry, strawberry and raspberry. It pairs with just about any food and is also delicious on its own. Drinks beautifully young or old.
