The Vineyard: Frick's Estate Owl Hill Vineyard, on the southeast-facing hillsides near the winery. This tiny vineyard is composed of rock, gravel and clay from decomposed Dry Creek Conglomerate soil. In this soil the vines have low vigor and produce limited amounts of grapes with distinctive, full and classic varietal character. Lush without being overbearing. This block of the vineyard abuts the tasting room.
The Wine: 100% Estate Mourvèdre grapes. Classic precise Mourvèdre character of dark red fruits with savory meatiness. Drink now to 2028. Only 134 cases produced.
