My mother in law Babe Garibaldi resting on a ladder by the wine press. The Vineyard: This is the oldest block of vines on the Frick Estate. Vines age to over 104 years. The block is so tiny that it produces  only 1 barrel of wine a year. The vineyard is named Garibaldi to honor my wonderful mother-in-law Babe Garibaldi Gannon. Garibaldi the wine is an example of a rare field blend containing many varieties, red and white, mixed together in the same vineyard. My “museum” plot. Grapes are harvested and fermented together.
