Tasting Notes: Golden straw color. Aromas are bright green apple, tangerine, melon, mandarin orange, with crisp flavors of apple and pear.
The Grapes: Grenache Blanc and Viognier are the varieties that make up this blend. They are single vineyard, from Estate hillsides.
The Vineyards: Viognier is from Frick's Estate Gannon Vineyard tucked onto a south facing hillside adjacent to the tasting house.
Grenache Blanc is from Frick’s Estate Owl Hill Vineyard. Rocky soil with two distinct micro climates that add to complexity.
The Wine: Delicious, full bodied, with big round mouthfeel. Rich elegance with a great array of flavor. Very complex. This wine is composed of Grenache Blanc 77% Viognier 23%.
