The Grape: A rare delicious Rhone variety with only 7 acres planted in Sonoma County. It is sometimes found as a component of some red and rosé Rhone wines. Frick Cinsaut Is grown in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County. Characteristics of the grape are large olive shaped berries, lush red fruit flavors and very soft tannin.

The Vineyard: Frick's Estate Owl Hill Vineyard is the hill to the west of the winery.  The soil is rock, gravel and clay from decomposed Dry Creek Conglomerate.  At this location the vines have low vigor and produce grapes that have complex fruit flavor.

The Wine:
This is a 100% estate grown cinsaut rosé. Harvested to be a delicate low alcohol European style wine.  Delightfully aromatic. Very short skin contact delivers classic light color and rosé fruit; grapefruit, wild strawberry and red currant.  Crisp refreshment with layers of tropical and red fruit flavors.
