Counoise and Cinsaut are from Frick's Estate Owl Hill Vineyard, on the rolling hillside next to the winery. This tiny vineyard grows in rock, gravel and clay from decomposed Dry Creek Conglomerate soil. In this soil the vines have very low yields.
The Wine: Frick's original unique blend of three obscure red Rhone grape varieties that start with the letter “C”. These three grapes come together beautifully to create a complex delicious wine. Aged 23 months in small neutral oak barrels. Low alcohol fresh character.
